Restaurants
Quality and choice is what the Serenity Plus Fully All Inclusive concept at Shandrani is all about. All of the superb restaurants are included in the package including four restaurants which offer á la carte or fine dining. There's champagne by the glass, an impressive wine list including over 40 carefully selected wines, soft drinks and imported spirits. There's poolside and beachside service and importantly, for you, no need to sign for any of this - it's all included!

Occasionally the hotel may use one of its restaurants for a group booking and post-Easter to September the hotel may close two of its restaurants.

Dress Code: During the day the dress code is casual, during the evening the restaurants prefer guests to be smart-casual so shirts and trousers (full length) for the men.

Le Grand Port
Le Grand Port is the hotel's main restaurant offering mouthwatering Creole and Oriental influenced buffet-style cuisine from a number of 'live' cooking stations. The restaurant has wooden decking which extends down towards the beach, around the pool plus also offers lovely views over the pool itself and lagoon. Open for breakfast between 0700 and 1000, lunch between 1300 and 1500 and dinner between 1830 and 2130. Seats 320.

Le Sirius Grill & Bar
This restaurant has a stunning location looking out across the hotel's second pool and serves a light tropical á la carte cuisine all day. Open for breakfast between 0730 and 1000, lunch between 1215 and 1430 and dinner (on reservation) from 1900 and 2200. Seats 150.

Porto Vecchio
The Porto Vecchio has a fantastic, lively atmosphere and serves delicious Mediterranean á la carte cuisine at its location right in the heart of the hotel's entertainment area. Open for lunch between 1215 and 1445 and á la carte dinner 1900 and 2200. Seats 100.

Le Boucanier
For something special, Le Boucanier isserves a weekly fine dining menu focusing on seafood specialties in an intimate garden setting - fish cooked and served in a bamboo parcel shouldn't be missed. Available for guests over 12 years old and open between 1900 and 2200. Seats 70.

Teak Elephant
Enjoy a unique dining experience at Shandrani's Thai restaurant. You can enjoy a fine dining taster menu that changes weekly and is filled with various flavours and spices! Teak Elephant is available for guests over 12 years old and is open between 1900 and 2200. Seats 40.

An insider tip - Le Boucanier and Teak Elephant are small intimate restaurants and are both hugely popular. Dining can be limited in these restaurants as all guests are given an equal chance to dine in them. It is therefore a great idea to have a chat with the restaurant reservations team as early in your stay as possible.

Bars

Blue Bay Bar
Open from 1000 to 2330, the Blue Bay Bar is set in the heart of the hotel overlooking the main pool. Delicious pancakes, snacks, tea and coffee are served from 1500 to 1700.

Le Sirius Bar
Located at Le Sirius Restaurant, the bar is next to the second pool and overlooks the lagoon.  Snacks and pancakes are served between 1500 and 1700.  Open 1000 to 2200.

La Source Spa
The hotel has a superb spa, set within the beautiful gardens, and as part of your all inclusive package each adult can enjoy one complimentary 45 minute massage (minimum 4 night stay required). Once you have experienced the spa, it will make perfect sense to treat yourself to the excellent menu of treatments, many of which use Clarins products.

The Wellness Centre is situated in the relaxing tropical gardens. You'll have twenty massage cabins, one pool, one hamman and one sauna at your disposal. So go on - treat yourself!

Bob Marlin Mini Club
All Beachcomber hotels have a free Bob Marlin Mini Club which welcomes children aged 3 - 12 years 7 days a week. The Shandrani Bob Marlin Mini Club is set within its own building in the gardens and is open from 0900 to 2200 daily.

The clubs are run by qualified professionals who provide fun, but also educational, indoor and outdoor activities to keep your little ones entertained and happy.

Every day there is a set activities programme which you can dip in and out of, if you also want to spend some family holiday time together during the day.

Children and infants under 3 can attend the Club but must be accompanied by an adult or baby sitter.

Please note. Shandrani is situated relatively close to the airport. Mauritius is a small island and flights are fairly infrequent (key times being early morning and late evening), but they can be seen and heard from the hotel.
